About Jaden

My name is Jaden Koren and I’m a fourth-year medical student at the UC College of Medicine. I’m originally from Kenova, West Virginia, a small town right on the borders of WV, OH, and KY. I attended Marietta College for my undergraduate education where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology and a certificate in Leadership Studies.

I was eager to sign up for this elective to give me a much-needed reconnection with my passion for service. Throughout medical school, I have spent a lot of time dedicated to studying and clinical hours but haven’t spent enough time getting to know and serving the Cincinnati community. It is my hope and goal that this elective will allow me to do that, as well as provide greater perspective on how I can best support my patients as a future family medicine physician.
