About Amanda

I am an Indianapolis, Indiana native and a proud alumnus of Purdue University. As you can imagine, basketball and the Indy 500 were a big part of my childhood. I now call Newport, KY home, and on any given day you might find me hiking down at the Red River Gorge, shopping for international cuisine at Jungle Jim’s, or riding a roller coaster at Kings Island! I am excited to take part in the service and advocacy elective during this upcoming year to learn more about how to identify community health needs and create and implement service projects that address those needs. I eagerly look forward to using the skills I will gain in this elective during my future career as a pediatrician!
