Goals & Objectives
List goals for your project that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. What does a successful outcome of your project look like? Another way to think about it is to make sure you answer the questions: How good? By when? For whom?
You will also complete a SLAC application for your project. Please also post this as an attachment in the discussion board below.

SMART goal for this project: Our goal is to educate influential educational groups including school boards, school administrators, and PTOs on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) given their significant impact on the academic and personal success of children, with the ultimate goal of subsequently providing free resources to promote trauma informed care in schools and support the work already being done in these settings. This will be accomplished by first utilizing the local community connections of the Joining Forces for Children School members to identify school boards, school administrators, and parent teacher organizations that would benefit from this project. By the end of the 2022-2023 academic year, we hope to have made at least 10 presentations, with at least 3 of these presentations occurring before the end of 2022.
